        Polyethylene is one of the infrastructure material pipes with the highest resistance to chemicals (acids, bases, salts, etc.). In addition, it is the most preferred infrastructure pipe in special field applications due to its flexibility, high impact resistance, easy joining (by welding) and sealed joint combination.

        Increasing awareness of environmental protection has brought important changes in landfills in our country after developed countries such as Europe and America. In the last 20 years, it is seen that many municipalities in our country have modern landfills. The leakage water of the tons of garbage placed on them from the impermeable floors created in these areas is removed by HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) pipes. Especially the HDPE type used is PE100 due to its effective inner diameter.

        Drain pipes; These are circular-section pipes made of material used to remove harmful water that is formed and stagnated underground and above ground. It is used to transport the water coming from the collector pipes to places such as drainage channels, streams or rivers.

Advantages;

  • Its underground life is 50 years and it is easy to transport and install.
  • Since the holes on the pipe are opened on the inner surface of the wall rings, it does not clog.
  • There is no possibility of fire.
  • It is used in sandy soils without the need for filter material.
  • It can also be produced without holes when required.

Usage areas;

  • In the removal of harmful water in agricultural land,
  • In the foundation drainage of the construction area,
  • In the improvement of muddy and loamy lands,
  • In highway shoulder improvement,
  • In the removal of ground water of structures with water in the floor,

What is Perforated Drainage Pipe?

        The wall thickness of the pipe wall is perforated in small diameters (10 - 20 mm), which varies according to the project, and the PE100 pipes are provided to drain leakage water. Perimeter perforation can be at an angle of 220 ° to 360 ° circumferentially. Selection criteria are expected leakage water flow, carrier pipe diameter, slab slope, pipe storage height, etc.

        In addition to modern landfills, perforated drainage PE100 pipes are also used in metal mining operations. In the special metal ore washing areas, against the risk of contamination of chemicals used in gold mine operations, the chemicals remaining after washing on sealed floors are collected through PE100 pipes (perforated) for drainage and removed for disposal / reuse.
